Inspired by her own children, Esther uses this delightful depiction to show the meaning of Purim as interpreted by children - sharing candy. Through coercion or generosity, candy will find its way from adult to child, and from child to child. Hamantashen, jelly beans, candy bars, and lollipops are all legal tender in the post Purim market.
This scene illustrates the enchanting curiosity and darling innocence of children, a young man charming a young woman.
